Hudson Water Strikes Gold

Lets just cut to the chase. Anyone with good sense does not want their utility rates doubled and those responsible for doubling them to get their pay rate doubled, and that double trouble means the Members of Hudson Water Supply have been double exposed to some double trouble. Anyone want to comment on this issue. Please do. At some point The people need to speak.

I'm Back!!..

Now, to get this party started, Who wants to hear some good news? Well, the November ballots are coming up and we dont foresee much action there so far. The new Shop building for City heavy equipment and Street dept. is finished and looking great. Lots of room to work and a nice office for Public Works Director Jessie Lovejoy and Animal Control Officer Vern Goodenough. Thanks to The Council for the efforts put forth on the budget and the City Manager and Mayor for keeping us growing and prospering. And P.D. short handed but still out there to protect and serve the good folks of Hudson,We salute you. Has anyone else noticed , Hudson Beautiful Clean with Paulette Lovejoy at the helm has the City Hall looking lovely. The Hudson Fire departments annual Fall Festival is coming in October and the haunted house is going to be extra frightful this year i hear, Dont miss it. All proceeds go to Hudson V.F.D. they work hard for us and our properties. I personally cant wait. Anyone having a garage sale this week? Remember to pick those signs up afterwards, lets keep our city clean. Congrats to the Ramos family on the opening of their new businesses on Mt Carmel. We have a new location for Johnny Ram Tax Services and The new Automotive Shop will be an asset to the community as well. cant beat the Lunch specials at the Lunch box on hwy 94 .And Stop in at Polks on your way to Pinevalley Raceway this weekend for snacks and gas.Shop in Hudson and keep our tax dollars here.

How Clean is it?

Anyone out there with a digital camera that would like to send pictures of trash or unsightly areas within the City of Hudson please send them to Me at "redhill @consolidated.net." Your email address will remain anonomous. Maybe if we post them , the folks may see fit to clean them up. Please send only unclean ,and trash filled areas. Not a picture for example of "Billy Bobs Tin Barn that looks unsightly cause it aint as perty as a new metal mart building." you people know what trash is.
